Planeswalker (2)

"Devil-blades and dripping blood make music Rakdos never tires of hearing."

So this one is a bit odd. I just loved the flavor of devil cards and decided to try to make it work... here we are!

The whole idea of this deck is basically to ping your opponent until they drop. To accieve this I started out with Footlight Fiend+Rakdos Cackler in combination with Cavalcade of Calamity to start the early pressure by attacking as much as possible. Tibalt's Rager is almost the same, just as a two-drop and Vexing Devil is pretty self explaining. If your devils should die, no problem! You get triggers from Vengeful Devil for another round of pings. Hellrider does the same as Cavalcade of Calamity, while Zurzoth, Chaos Rider adds pure chaos to the game (Rakdos approves!) and in the process reinforces your ranks. Make Mischief also gives you more cannon fodder. Burn Down the House is one of the new inclusions, it provides you with either more devils or a boardwhipe should you need one. This line-up tries to force it's speed on your opponent and brings him to react, so your option for removal in this deck is only two copies of Devil's Play - it can also be a finisher if you need to brute force the win. To give you a bit of sustainance against other fast decks and an aditional win option is Ob Nixilis, the Adversary. Admittedly he is rather a demon like Rakdos, but he still fits the theme of the deck perfectly - draining your opponent and an aditional sacrifice outlet for your devils. Light Up the Stage is THE card for red aggro, so it was a natural inclusion for a deck that tries to be fast and relies on hitting its land drops. Finally Rakdos, the Showstopper is your overlord. He is quite unnecessary for the deck, but is a hell lot of fun to play (get it???) and I wanted to include him in one of my decks for a long time.

This is it. The deck is absolutely not competitive and solely designed to be flavorful, chaotic and fun -at least for you! If you like my interpretation of a quite aggro-ish devil deck, I'd love to hear your feedback!

Updates Add

Impetuous Devils give way for the most recent inclusion of Ob Nixilis, the Adversary. The deck sacrifices a bit of removal for the plainswalker, but I found that I was casting Impetuous Devils rarely. Also the demon lord drops the mana curve and feels over all like a neat addition.
