This deck is built around the resiliency of Eternal Scourge against control and aggro decks in the meta.

We want to be able to keep casting Eternal Scourge from exile. Chandra, Torch of Defiance and Karn, Scion of Urza create value while allowing us a way to exile Scourge and recast it. Scrabbling Claws in the main deck answers the many graveyard strategies in the meta while also allowing us to exile our Scourge, and it can cycle when not needed. Heart of Kiran and Shadowspear dodge sweepers and increase the value of Scourge and our other creatures. Goblin Rabblemaster, Chandra, Acolyte of Flame and Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger are all good value alternate finishers.

The removal/hand disruption package is all over the place as I figure out what works best. I wanted a sweeper mainboard, and Sweltering Suns can clean up against most aggro decks while also being able to cycle against control.

In the sideboard Slaughter Games, Chandra, Awakened Inferno and Thought Distortion all replace creature removal. The rest of the board are for other various matchups.

Any suggestions appreciated, including dipping into another color.
