So I just need some advice on making Niv more consistent.

I don't expect him to be cedh level with his CMC but some games i truly am doing nothing but being targetted (for niv reasons)

It's a typical Niv-Mizzet, Parun deck with Curiosity, Tandem Lookout, Ophidian Eye.
Body of Knowledge and a Laboratory Maniac to help with that.
Glint-Horn Buccaneer for a discard ping win.
Isochron Scepter & Dramatic Reversal for infinite mana should I somehow make it that far.
Token gen creatures for blocks.

I just need some advice on what can make this more reliable and consistent.
(besides fetchlands - they're on the way)

Some games, turn 4 win.
Others, I'm dying to a pre-con to commander damage, albeit just once.
