K’rrik deck using storm-ish shell, featuring the Extort mechanic. Gameplay is simple. Cast Krrik early. If he stays on the board for a couple of turns, game over.

Combo & Gameplay

Main combo in the form of: Bolas's Citadel, Aetherflux Reservoir and Sensei's Divining Top. This allows us to draw out our entire library while gaining enough life to kill everyone using the reservoir. Combo is easily and best set up using Insidious Dreams, putting the Citadel on top of our library with the rest of the combo pieces below it.

Alternatively, we can use the Citadel, SDT, and any creature with extort. In a 4-player pod and with K’rrik in play, we can pay 1 life to keep cast SDT from the top of our library and 2 life to pay for the extort cost. Opponents each lose 1 life and we gain 3 life. Rinse and repeat. The more creatures with Extort we have in play, the faster we kill the table.

The rest of the deck is composed of ramp spells and rocks to ensure we get our commander out early and start rolling from there. It also has a good amount of tutors and draw spells that help us get to key pieces and make sure we are able to keep casting spells to Extort.

Key Cards

Key cards include Blood Celebrant (3 life for 1 generic mana), Villis, Broker of Blood, Bolas’s Citadel (‘draw’ engines), Pestilence (keeps the board cleared especially early on), and Insidious Dreams.
