Hey everyone!

Way back when I first started as a bright eyed teenager during onslaught/legion blocks; I remember two cards being released that had everyone's excitement cranked up to 11. These of course were Akroma, Angel of Wrath and, the girl of the hour, Phage the Untouchable. This is before buying singles online was a thing, and I did not live near any game stores who carried them. Only the incredibly lucky pulled either of these two from a pack. I was not one of these few.

But now, as an adult with the full might of a modest entertainment budget behind me, I have returned to the first forbidden fruit this game ever presented me. Now I bring you, my Phage the Untouchable EDH deck.

For those not familiar, this deck utilizes some tricks to get phage into play from the command zone without loosing the game. Some of these combos are:

Phage the Untouchable + Thrull Wizard + Withering Boon to counter Phase as she resolves, sending her to the graveyard where she can later be fished out.

Lich's Mastery + Phage the Untouchable + Platinum Angel to make her 'Lose the game' ability not take effect. you will find a few cards mitigating the dangers of Lich's Mastery also sprinkled in.

Phage the Untouchable + Sundial of the Infinite + Torpor Orb Can also be used to get around the ability.

Endless Whispers + Phage the Untouchable + Sacrifice outlet. Another even nastier trick is using Endless whisper to have Phage come into play under an opponents control after counter/sac'ing her, thus automatically losing the game for them.

Then, once Phage is in play under your side using the multitude of Mana generators and draw spells, there are plenty of ways for her to fly, trample, and shadow her way to knocking out opponents.

This deck was an absolute blast to think up, and really scratched a nostalgic itch for me, trying to realize Phage in her true glory within EHD restrictions. I will be placing my order soon! I would love any comments from interested passersby :). Any other ideas are welcome, but i cant move my budget much higher.
