This is a basic infect pump deck made for Zandl's 2012 Standard Pauper Challenge.
Basic idea of this deck is to get your low costed creatures out quickly before your opponent can get blockers down and pump them like crazy for the win.
Early game, if you can hit a turn 1 Glistener Elf You can start swinging turn 2. Never stop swinging, If they block, pump your creature enough so it doesn't die, naturally. Don't forget to leave mana open if you are going to kill something and you have
Hunger of the Howlpack
in hand, to benefit from the morbid proc. If you have an unnatural preditation in hand you can trample over small blockers easily. The key to this deck in Pauper is to use your trample effects well.
Mid/Late game, This is where your
Blight Mamba
s carry you. Regenerate can never be overlooked. Keep swinging with your creatures. Pump them in combat, and then post combat use Prey Upon to remove another threat as well. Keep up the pressure and you should be able to handle nearly anything they throw at you,
tl;dr:Get your creatures out early, be aggressive. Use your pump spells to your best advantage.
Blight Mamba
s will carry you late game. Leave mana to regenerate them. Trample effects are sparse in this pauper version, utilize them when they'll have the largest effect.
