Pretty simple concept, Sorin can kill himself with his minus and kill opponents with his plus. You get to cast him and Demonic Tutor a lot when you get Paradox Engine down. The Chain Veil allows for multiple upticks in a single, eventually killing the table.

Marit Lage is easy to assemble, we already play good enough tutors for it. Vampire Hexmage, Mirage Mirror and Thespian's Stage all can copy Dark Depths so this is good plan B.
