My attempt for creating a standard deck. I haven't done research on the standard meta, so looking for feedback on this build. Wanted to play around with the amass mechanic, so not looking for a tier one deck at all, just something that can work aggro, well enough.

Some Build Decisions/Thoughts:

  • Death Baron seemed like a more popular choice than Vizor.
  • I need to playtest more and trying to keep the 60-61 deck list, I found through beta testing, the one of's didn't the aggro.
  • Angrath feels good with swinging momentum, but either feels like a dead card in hand/field or a ineffective, so may drop him.

I'm new to Magic, so I'm always looking to improve. Figured this mechanic would give me an excuse to get into Standard, as the lore drew me to the deck. Looking for feedback and improvements.

UPDATES:

6/15/19 - Removed Dreadhorde Butcher from main deck. Added another card:Tyrant Scorn. Continuing to playtest Eternal Skylord to decide if playing such a highly costed creature (especially as a one of) is worth it.

6/20/19 - Removed 1x of each Basic Land to make space for Karn's Bastion . Added Contentious Plan to add more proliferate options. Removed Eternal Skylord until I find more options to flood field with Zombie Tokens. Finally, removed Enter the God-Eternals for being so high on the curve. Working on more proliferate options, as well as midrange options, such as removal.
