Mutate monsters. Smash!

When I first saw the mutate mechanic, I thought it was so unique and I wanted to build a deck around it. The main goal of the deck is to take evasive and/or difficult to target creatures like Silhana Ledgewalker and Vashta Nerada and mutate creatures such as our commander Otrimi, the Ever-Playful onto them.

The deck also has a critical mass of utility creatures that serve a function and are also good targets to be mutated onto such as Dimir Infiltrator, Malanthrope, and Yavimaya Dryad. This ensures that I should always have a target to mutate available, which is critical for the deck to operate smoothly.

Due to the nature of how mutate works cloning or creating copies, with cards such as Echoing Equation   and Stolen Identity, is extremely powerful.

This deck it extremely fun to play and has quickly become one of my favorite decks.
