Maybeboard

was never the strongest colour combination, even if it had some seriously cool cards. There are lots of tricky creatures that punish your opponent for attacking into them, and a number of guys who force a discard upon arrival. How do we take both of these abilities over the top? By throwing the creatures into play at instant speed!

Enter Dragon Arch, which lets you flash any of your creatures into play for just . Your opponent will never know if he's attacking into a High Priest of Penance or Souls of the Faultless until it's too late! Is he in topdeck mode? Drop Basilica Bell-Haunt or Tidehollow Sculler at the end of his draw step and he basically just skipped the turn! The Arch also gives you a way to cheat out mana-heavy bruisers like Angel of Despair (also great as an instant-speed surprise) and Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts (again, particularly rude after attackers have been declared!)

Dropping creatures that you expect to chump block means your boys are bound to die, but Athreos, Ravos and Phyrexian Reclamation can all get your dead creatures back into your hand. And what kind of impediment is that? It's only another to slap them back into play!
