This deck relies on -1/-1 counters to win. There are multiple win cons in this deck, so there's almost always a backup plan. I hope I explain this correctly!

Yawgmoth, Thran Physician with Blood Artist, Obelisk Spider or Zulaport Cutthroat on the board. You'll need one additional creature to sac to get the process moving. Any of the mana dorks or undying creatures will do. Even better if you already have a snake token. Use Yawgmoth to stack up -1/-1 counters on your opponents creatures. After you sac your first creature, the token generation from Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons will keep feeding Yawgmoth. Zulaport, Obelisk or Blood Artist (bonus points if more than one are out) will drain your opponents equal to the size of your library while your life gain from Zulaport, Obelisk or Blood Artist offsets the life loss from Yawgmoth. The undying creatures in the deck are there as backup in case there are no targets for -1/-1 counters on your opponent's board.

Black Sun's Zenith with Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons on the board can get silly. Especially if you already have a lot of snake tokens (and your opponents have a lot of creatures). You'll want either Fynn, the Fangbearer or Hooded Blightfang (or both!) alongside Concordant Crossroads in your hand. Leave enough mana open to cast Fynn and/or Blightfang and the Crossroads after you generate an obscene amount of deathtouch tokens. Swing out with your army of snakes = lots of damage or even win if you get enough snakes.

Support comes in the form of Defense of the Heart to help you tutor for any of the creatures listed above. There are several other tutors and card draw abilities in this deck. My favorite being Necropotence. Yeah, you have to exile instead of discard, so I put Thought Vessel in as backup, even though I might not need it. It can help ramp early in the game too.

There is also Blowfly Infestation which combos with card:Hapatr, Vizier of Poisons and either of the following; Zulaport Cutthroat, Blood Artist or Obelisk Spider. Check out the combo here; https://commanderspellbook.com/combo/4739/

I don't intend for this to be cEDH. I know I could swap out a few cards to possibly get to that level. I intend to play this as a high powered casual deck. I wouldn't play this against new players (without warning at least... lol) or a pod of decks I know could be easily defeated (that's just rude and not even that fun). Within my playgroup, this is usually one I break out at the end of the evening or when I know my friends are playing higher powered decks.

I hope you enjoy my Hapatra build!
