When Dina, Soul Steeper
was spoiled I was enamored. Mostly because I'm a huge tea nerd and work at a fine tea shop, but also because I was looking to build both a Golgari deck and a groupslug deck. I don't want to do aristocrats.
The original plan was to have a bunch of evasive lifelinkers like Vampire of the Dire Moon, Vampire Cutthroat, and Vault Skirge to help with triggering Dina's ability. I ended up cutting a fair amount for more things like Fountain of Renewal. The enchantments are harder to remove, but the creatures can block. I might switch the ratio up as I play the deck. I may be a bit low on win-cons but I'm going to keep the deck as-is for now and feel it out.
