The goal of this deck is to cast Mana Severance, removing all cards from my library except for thassa's oracle, then drawing Thassa's Oracle the next turn and casting it to win the game. Jace, Vryn's Prodigy   allows you to more quickly search through your deck if you don't manage to draw Mana Severance in your opening hand, and can cast it from your graveyard when flipped if you need to.
