Omnath, Locus of Rage seems like a very good commander for a simple, aggro, Gruul deck. The game plan is pretty straightforward. Ramp until Omnath, Locus of Rage can come out to play (the sooner the better), and then use as many underhanded tactics as possible to get multiple land drops a turn. There's definitely some politics involved when cards like Tempt with Vengeance, Tempt with Discovery, and Collective Voyage are played, and alliances are made to be broken, so that's why those are in there. The deck contains a few neat combos, but most of them are just to get more lands onto the field. The deck also has some other minor token generation as a backup, stuff like Rampaging Baloths, Avenger of Zendikar, Parallel Lives, and a few others. I'd like the deck to be as aggressive as possible. I left out several common removal spells simply because I'm hoping to be able to defeat opponents before they have a chance to get their decks up and running.
