This deck revolves around Land Value, either via landfall, ETBs or graveyard recursion. It requires initial turns to setup the board-state and then snowballs like a boss.

There is a new Omnath, ironically name "Locus of Creation" which was the original name for this deck. I've read through it and maybe will create an adapted version, but it doesn't draw cards on landfall, which is super weak imo even for casual games.

Commander

Omnath, Locus of the Roil has a main value ability: if you control 8 lands, whenever a land enters the battlefield you draw a card (and he gets +1+1). The ETB is okish but even more situational: on entering the battlefield he deals X damage to any target, where X is the number of elementals you control.

Turning Omnath in a value engine requires some setup, in fact playing Omnath before having 8 lands is situational - you can kill a Birds of Paradise but that's about it. So this deck intrinsically works at the Tuned-Mid Power level where you "waste" 5-6 turns to setup your board-state.

Strategy

1. T1-T4 Ramp lands, notice that the list is not running plenty of Cultivate effects, the reason is the fact that we don't run a lot of basics. This can be definitely changed though. Additionally if it happens it a very good moment to put down a self-contained value piece like Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora,.. the usual suspects, you get the idea.
2. T5-T6 make your first splashy play, try to play one of the 4cmc+ creatures with some interaction back up
3. T6+ at this point we should have the 8 lands and we can start jamming the Commander

An ideal board state allows you to:

• play 2 or 3 lands per turn
• have a draw effect on lands entering the battle field

Once there sooner or later you'll hit a value finisher:

• Titania, Protector of Argoth to swarm the board with 5/3s, the list runs a bunch of fetchlands and effects that sacrifice lands (Crop Rotation, Scapeshift, Harrow)
• Field of the Dead, Omnath, Locus of Rage swarm the board with tokens
• Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle which lightning bolts anything
• with enough mana, elementals and zombies, Finale of Devastation will get the job done too

W.I.P., I don't feel like the list is final so there are indeed a bunch of "autoincludes" already in but we may look at major overhauls, especially to speed the early turns.
