What's better than gaining life?

Losing that life again... Mixing suicide black and lifegain in; Oloro's Suicide.

I had a classic Oloro deck, but it got boring very quickly. Gain a lot of life, then wait out the game in your fort of pillows until you draw a wincon. I have always thought Suicide black was a fun concept, but I guess I'm to cautious of a person. So I made a middle thing.

Gain life, so that you can pay life without fear of dying from a Lightning Bolt or such.

We are ((Almost)) sure of getting 2 life each turn. This means we can lose 2 life each turn without actually losing life. This is why we have a lot of Phyrexian Arena-cards, and their slightly more unpredictable cousin Kothophed, Soul Hoarder. Also the Modern-staple Bitterblossom. We also have some of my all-time favourite removal cards: Anguished Unmaking, Ashes to Ashes and Reckless Spite . And the mass removal all-star Toxic Deluge. And some other cards, that use our life as a resource as well as mana.

Of cause we also have Oloro-staples like: Karlov of the Ghost Council , Exquisite Blood, Drogskol Reaver etc..
