This deck is the very first deck I built from the ground up. I had played against Edgar Markov and if you have ever faced this deck it is rather mean, who wouldn't want a free token every time you cast something? I have always found the Eminence mechanic to be really unfair. There is nothing you can do to stop it - no answer to it - except to kill the opponent. Anyway, I wanted my own Eminence deck and so I built this one.

I have recently revised it but the core of it is about the same I am just using new cards that help me utilize the life gain better, like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Indulging Patrician, Veinwitch Coven and the very mean Witch of the Moors. I added more protection with Revenge of Ravens and beefed up my life gain with Soul Warden and Soul's Attendant.

For a bit more flavour I added in Choice of Damnations.
