Modern Aggro BR (Rakdos) Burn Red Deck Wins

This deck was partly inspired by the old Aggro Loam build, when I realized how much fun Countryside Crusher could be as a mid-game engine for RDW.

While most RDW builds can run out of steam while top decking in the mid to late game, this deck uses its biggest beater to filter out unneeded land and get to the spells it needs to close the deal. All while pumping itself up to stomp all over anything in its path. :)

The Meat...

  • Countryside Crusher - The heart of this deck, ol' Crusher feeds himself heartily while digging out spells for me to finish his dirty work.

  • Ball Lightning - Without the proper instant speed removal at hand, nobody wants to see this thing on Turn 3. Nobody wants it returning from the grave either, but I've got other plans...

  • Goblin Guide - Puts opponents on an early clock, and can hold its own later on with a sword or two in hand.

  • Hellspark Elemental - A nice alternative to its big brother if I can throw one down Turn 2.

The Potatoes...

  • Blightning - If there's anything people hate more than discarding a card, it's discarding 2 cards. If there's anything people hate more than discarding 2 cards, it's taking 3 damage to the dome on top of it. That's okay, I hate you too. :)

  • Dark Confidant - Old Country's partner in crime. Picks up extra land or spells as needed, all at a reasonable cost.

  • Lightning Bolt - Effective burn at a reasonable price.

  • Shard Volley - Two times the Lightning Bolt is twice as nice. This one even feeds The Crusher in the process!

  • Terminate - Kills stuff dead. Guaranteed.

Don't Forget the Gravy!

  • Crucible of Worlds - The Almighty Crusher demands sacrifice! Lead those who've gone astray back to face their doom again, like lands to the slaughter!

  • Sword of Light and Shadow - A useful evasion tool with added life gain to alleviate the pain of Bob's demands. Can also spell Ball Lightning to the face every turn if two have already hit the grave.

Ideas and +1s welcome. :)

Updates Add

Cut Chandra Ablaze and Grim Discovery, bringing in Dark Confidant, Crucible of Worlds, and Sword of Light and Shadow for more impact in 1v1 settings.

My biggest questions now are...

How does the deck feel overall? Am I taking it in the right direction?

Is Blightning too slow for this deck? If so, should I try to speed things up with a lower cost/higher efficiency spell or go for a top end 4/5 mana finisher? What cards would you recommend in its place?
