Ode to Ninja Gaiden is a themed deck based around the 3 original games released on Nintendo. It is a themed deck with many cards chosen for flavor over power level. It is designed to compete against other "Ode to" decks in my playgroup. It has ninjas and evasion with a slight mill theme. Here is a list of what some of the cards represent within the deck: Jaquio (main boss) - Lazav, Dimir Mastermind (commander for the deck) Ryu - Higure, the Still Wind Malice Four (from the 1st game) - Anowan the ruin thief, Mirko Vosk, mind drinker, Etrata the silencer, Szadek lord of secrets Since Jaquio is opening a portal and summoning a demon we have Liliana's contract with the Equipment Elbrus, the binding blade and 4 demons (Lord of the void, archfiend of derpravity, demon of walling agonies, and rakshasa debaser) Representing the two statues of light and dark are Eye of Ramos and Skull of Ramos (I have tried also substituting Ebony Owl Netsuke and Ivory Crane Nestuke but they didn't function as well) The rest of the cards either represent additional characters or bad guys or were included to enhance the theme or basic function of the deck.
