This is 1 of 6 casual EDH decks that was made for my play group where they are themed around original NES franchise titles. Ode to Kid Icarus has a sub angel tribal theme paired with equipment and aura enchantments that can support a voltron or token enchantment wins strategy. Cards were chosen based on Flavor and theme and then functionality. Some cards represent traditional Greek mythology tropes with Jenara, Asura of war (commander) filling in as Pitt.
