This version of Daretti aims to go real hard on the Stax pieces, until we can blow up all or most of our opponents lands, and welder a Wurmcoil or Myr Battlesphere for the finish. Mana rocks ensure we keep playing our spells through Wildfire or Winter Orb. Gamble and Trash for Treasure were tested, gamble felt too slow and Trash felt expensive and didn't happen very often or resolve at all. Once we put Faithless Looting in the SS slot, the deck ran much smoother and is able to Daretti into Faithless, then use Daretti's minus to welder back a stax piece or fattie in the same turn.

We are not playing any Planeswalkers in the main except Dominaria Karn, because early Karn can just run away with the game on card advantage. Ugin started off in the deck, but the more staxy we got the harder it was to rely on him, and he became an overcosted Oblivion Stone that was usually taken care of next turn.

You can welder early if you get the nuts as long as you are not sitting with more than one control player or they tapped out for a rock. We do have Pyroblast and Red Elemental Blast, but this is a meta call since my LGS is heavy into the blue.
