Goddess Klothys has awakened, and she isn't happy.

Destiny needs correction!

This deck stirs the embers of Nyx into an all-consuming fire. As Klothys is both punishing and nurturing, so is this deck dual in its nature – it's both an enchantment deck and a burn deck.

Enchantments are the first of your ways to change destiny, and the first step on this path is card draw. Eidolon and the Champion provide inspiration whenever you enchant the world further; you can train both your body and mind, and of course gain knowledge through certain projects. Some auras even let cards slither into your hand if attached to a hero who hits all opponents at once.

Enchantments can also alter the fate of your own army. With a chant on their lips and fire in their hearts, they will attack stronger than ever. Some of your mystical conjurations even take the form of creatures themselves: what they bring to your troops is protection, speed, and strength.

Many of your magics serve double purpose, as they also help fuel Klothys's own abilities. Sealing and turning to cinders the weapons of your foes, providing prophetic powers after expanding your mana potential, and serving as a way to speak with your Goddess about her deeds and promises fills the graveyard. Her loyal friend and personal task mage, Jaya and frequent visits to the market give you discard in times of need. All of these are ways to provide fuel for the God of Destiny.

And so we come to the subject of fire.

Klothys will change the shape of the world with her flaming potential, and to ensure her vision is met, she has magic that sets even the fire ablaze. The blessing of her fellow gods, a fire stoked in a powerful furnace, and her trusted lieutenants double her power; but even thah pales in comparison to the moment she achieves her emancipation.

And there are others that benefit from this aside from the Goddess. Archers, bombardiers and excavators fire off of things you want to do anyway, while the three elementals happily shoot everyone each turn. The Titan and the Fighter are excellent snipers, and friends with one other sharpshooter – the Incinerator. Meanwhile, the druid sets fire to all enemies while giving you mana.

Of course, Klothys herself can also add mana – if there are lands in your past. Every fetchland helps, be it your or opponents, even the humble Evolving Wilds. As mentioned, some enchantments help with ramp as well – but there are also two other major players. Neheb, the Eternal and Karametra's Acolyte both may end up creating a massive whirlpools of mana for you. Which, of course, you may then reshape into fiery storms and infernos, into a flight of dragons, or the wrath of an avenger.

And so, the destiny is fulfilled. The incredible amounts of mana at your disposal, the synergies of your magical creations and the fiery potential of your burning passion: all in one army that shapes the fate into your victory. And while there is always a room for improvements, fret not – for with Klothys at your side, you are undoubtedly destined for greatness!
