The commander of the deck, and main source of sinergy, generating the eggs we need to break and cheat some big dinos to the board.


Dinos and other creatures that supports them. These are our main targets to bring out from eggs to bring great impact in the board. We have a total of 23 dinos in that category and 2 main supports being:

  • Kaheera, the Orphanguard gives all our dinos +1/+1 and vigilance. Great card, unfortunately we can't use it as companion as long as Atla Palani is our commander.
  • God-Eternal Rhonas doubles our creatures' power everytime he hits the battlefield. When we have Atla Palani equiped with Thornbite Staff we can repeat this process many times per turn, thanks to Rhonas' seccond effect, doubling our creatures' power exponentially.


Main sources of card draws. We are limited to options due to the huge number of creatures and the deck being focused on bringing them to the battlefield. However we have some great options here:

  • Garruk's Uprising give our creatures trample and can function as a constant card draw;
  • Harmonize simply draws 3 cards wich is awesome;
  • Winding Way is a very flexible card, as you can choose what you need between lands or creatures. Besides, in worst case scenario it can clean the top of your deck for 4 dead draws.


Important ramp cards that we need to hard cast the BIG Dinos that we have in the deck. Our early game consists mainly in ramping.

Important notes:

  • As far as my current mana base goes, Farseek should always be cast to look for Jetmir's Garden or Stomping Ground;
  • When searching for basic lands, mainly look for Forests, but keep in mind that you must have at least one green, red and white mana sources in the field as fast as you can;


Basic and general lands to cast our spells. As my budget commands, I'm using checklands, shocklands, reveal lands, bounce lands, some triomes and poor-man fetch lands A.K.A. Terramorphic Expanse and Evolving Wilds. Temple of the False God can help us ramp, and Rogue's Passage is always usefull to deal some unblockable damage. 38 lands seems like a good number for this deck as it remained prety consistent everytime I played.

Egg Breakers

We can't create eggs and wait them to break alone, as they won't! We need cards that allow us to break the eggs created.

Important Notes:

  • High Market is great as it is free to play and to sacrifice the eggs;
  • Ashnod's Altar can help us go bonkers and drop all the creatures from the deck when paired with Thornbite Staff;
  • Marauding Raptor break eggs as soon as they ETB. He can also reduce our creature's costs, that is great!
  • Skullclamp breaks eggs and draws us two cards... chef's kiss

Utility / Combo

General utility cards that may generate some combos (detailed in the "known combos" section).

This deck does not aim to win via combo, but it can eventualy happen. The main combo source is the sinergy of our dangerous raptors Marauding Raptor and Polyraptor. If Marauding Raptor is on field, when Pollyrator enters, it will generate infinite Pollyraptors, wich alone brings the game to a tie. However we can use this to win.

  • If Impact Tremors is on the battlefield the infinite Pollyraptors will deal 1 damage to every opponent, eventualy defeating all them at once;
  • Ashnod's Altar and Thornbite Staff can bring ALL the creatures from the deck to the battlefield at once. From there we can go with 2 directions: winning via combat damage or winning via Pollyraptor + Marauding Raptor. First we generate infinite Pollyraptors via Marauding Raptor, then we use the effect from the Thornbite Staff, allowing us to deal 1 damage to target player, then sacrifice a pollyraptor with Ashnod's Altar to untap Atla Palani (equiped with the Thornbite Staff) and get the 2 mana we need to deal 1 damage again. As you do this you can go infinite and deal infinite damage to each other player, thus winning the game in most cases.
