Ok here's the story. I've had an on again off again relationship with MTG since I was in 5th grade (I'm 30). Ever since then, I've carried around some variant of a mono-Black discard deck. It's my baby. It's my favorite deck.

Now, the deck has undergone some MAJOR changes over the years. I don't think there's a single card from my original 10-year-old self's deck left and honestly, that's probably a good thing because it was a hella cheap deck that wrecked my middle school meta -- here's looking at you turn 2 Dark Ritual + Dauthi Marauder + Unholy Strength

Alright, so all of that said, I've always had a soft spot for cruel Mono-Black control that makes your opponent want to rage quit because they have no hand left.

I know this is never going to be LEGACY competitive, because I'm not willing to sink a month's rent into it, but I'd love any and all suggestions about cards I may not have thought to add.
