Little about Ruhan

He's big. He likes bashing faces. He doesn't care about consequences.That's why we're here to help him make sure he doesn't die while bashing faces.

Strength Show

• Ruhan has an enormous size of a body contained in a reasonable cost of 4CMC. Even without assistance, it makes Ruhan a force to be reckoned with.
• Ruhan's attack is the magic number 7. Bash them three times, and they're out.
• You don't need any other giant creatures to start the bashing.
• Unlike typical voltron/aggro general, Ruhan uses , giving access to more tutors and combat evasion.

Weakness Show

• Despite the size, he's still a vanilla creature. Small, deathtouch blockers ruins Ruhan's day all the time.
• To make the matter even worse, he has to attack each turn. Ruhan can't stand still without bashing.
• Because you can't control the direction of him, there are very little room for politics. People will likely try to deal with you fast.

How to help Ruhan

Ruhan likes new toys. Give him lots of equipments and he'll bash happier than ever before!

Important Keywords Show

Since Ruhan is a giant vanilla, he benefits a lot from having combat mechanics added to him. The notable keywords are:

• Double Strike: Makes the bashing super effective, potentially one-shotting anyone with 4 more power. Also clears out small deathtouch blockers.
• Unblockable: If dudes cannot get in between Ruhan and the target, it makes bashing incredibly straightforward! Duh.
• Haste: GOTTA GO FAST
• Protection: It's similar to unblockability, but now they can't even kill Ruhan for bashing their face :D
• Trample: Remember what I said about small blocker ruining Ruhan's day? He can now bash through those pesky 1/1's!

To the lesser degree, indestructible, lifelink, first strike, flying and vigilance still makes Ruhan happy :)

Notable cards

Ruhan doesn't like explaining stuffs. Figure it out yourself before he bashes your face.

Sunforger Show

If you play Boros and you're not playing Sunforger, you should contemplate on what you're doing with your life.

• Creature removal: Path to Exile, Swords to Plowshares
• Other removal: Chaos Warp, Return to Dust, Wear
• Counterspell: Hindering Light, Counterflux
• Quick pump: Boros Charm, Temur Battle Rage
• Tutor: Enlightened Tutor

Draws Show

Ruhan's not familiar with the three best words in the magic "Draw a card", but we still gotta work with what we have:

• Sram, Senior Edificer and Puresteel Paladin: If you haven't noticed yet, it's a voltron deck.
• Sword of Fire and Ice: Hey, it still draws you a card.
• Land Tax + Scroll Rack: Ah yes, I wouldn't mind playing Ancestral Recall.

Mana Rocks / Ramp Show

Suprisingly, our research shows that Ruhan also likes shiny rocks. Who would've ever thought it helps him to bash faces a turn earlier?

Turn 4 to 6 is your stronget moment. You better make the most out of it.

Tutors Show

You only need to tutor about two things: equipment and aura.
