Junk Rock Enchantress plays like an enchantress deck and wins like a Junk deck. With enchantress effects providing the card draw (and lands shenanigans providing the ramp) this deck can out-resource most other decks at the table while slowly burying them in efficient creatures. This list is good for those midrange players that like to outlast the table rather than go for some of the more flashy wins that come up a lot in EDH.

DESCRIPTION

The most common play pattern for this deck includes getting out enchantress effects early to keep your hand full, ramping into a strong mana base, and then using efficient creatures to keep pressure on and establish a strong board presence.

A good opening hand for this deck should contain either an enchantress effect, or several efficient creatures to keep pressure on while you dig to your enchantresses. The goal is to get one or two of these effects onto the board and then get an engine going that keeps your hand full and continuously adds effects to the board. The most common route to victory involves laying out pressure on your opponents with efficient creatures that can keep them on the backfoot, spending resources, and allowing you to get ahead by always having a full hand and a strong board presence. There are also some alternate ways to win via the dark depths combo ( Dark Depths + Thespian's Stage ) or if you're feeling dirty, through a quick infect kill using Inkmoth Nexus + Destiny Spinner .

A quick note: as some may notice, I chose not to include some artifact staples like Sol Ring and Sensei's Divining Top . While these cards would certainly make the list better and you should include them if you are building something similar, they are also in every deck I build and I enjoy having an enchantress build with no artifacts (except of course Crucible of Worlds because I couldn't help myself). This was just a personal choice though and obviously including these cards is the correct move.
