Madcap Emperion gives us more broken draws —Nov. 15, 2018

Obviously great if ramped out earlier with Spirit Guide or Utopia Sprawl. Blood Moon often ensures our opponent can no longer remove Platinum Emperion, and we can play both on curve. Emperion also turns on Rhonas the Indomitable, but it probably doesn't matter at that point.

The one dysergy is that Porphyry Nodes can kill Emperion, but either of the gods can save him. Also, we never need to play both at the same time anyways.

Looks cool! I'd love to see a sideboard for this at some point. Also, I think it is worth considering getting rid of Path to Exile in favor of Lightning Bolt, Lightning Helix, or some other red or white removal spell simply because Path to Exile and Blood Moon really don't work well together. Good luck brewing!

Good point! I cut Path for Bolt and added a transformational sideboard. Since our opponent will probably board out all their removal, we're free to play high-impact fragile creatures like Huntmaster and Mentor.

Well, now that Bloodbraid Elf is unbanned, looks like you get a new tool.

Hm interesting idea. Sadly in the current shell, many of the hits are actively bad with BBE: 3 Anger of the Gods, 2 Simian Spirit Guide, 3 Porphyry Nodes. I guess it's not inconceivable to make some version of this deck less reliant on 1 drops, SSG, and board wipes though.
