A deck for my wife who loves dogs and sort of likes cats, using Rin and Siri as commander. Low power and budget oriented, as she’s still learning. The only semi-expensive cards are ones I had lying around and am not using in other decks, like Stomping Ground and Razorverge Thicket. If she enjoys playing it, we'll start optimizing the land base and considering adding subthemes. Right now, the only subtheme is having some cards that add +1/+1 counters when doing things she would already be doing (ramping with Vastwood Surge, using Felidar Retreat to grab counters off land drops). I put a bunch of instant speed board wipe protection cards, since this deck hopes to go wide. Would be interested in budget ideas to improve.
