Hello everyone!

This is my take on a standard merfolk deck, but with a splash of black. This deck focuses on getting +1/+1 counters on as many creatures as possible and then hopefully dropping a Herald of Secret Streams for an unblockable finish.

Black is splashed to give access to Winding Constrictor, which is awesome when paired with a Metallic Mimic (and all of the other counters that are being thrown around). Fatal Push could also be a solid sideboard option (or mainboard?), but I haven't found a good home for it yet. Verdurous Gearhulk serves as an alternate win condition and the only truly "big" creature in the deck, whereas Kopala, Warden of Waves give the merfolk a bit of protection. Nissa, Steward of Elements can come down on turn 3 and give immediate card advantage or a double scry. Right now, the deck is a little inconsistent, and I'm not particularly sold on Cancel. Also, the sideboard needs some love...

I would love suggestions on how to make the deck a little bit more consistent or faster. Always a work in progress.
