Bro please, The most underrated Commander out there is Isamaru, Hound of Konda.

That's impossible cause mono white edh decks are the worst.

its been said before but ill say it again Greater Good hands down better than howling mine. sac your commander bring him back with Nim Deathmantle how does this not sounds like a good idea haha also add a Avenger of Zendikar with a Phyrexian Altar add Nim Deathmantle and you have infinite colored mana. I also think the other legendary mono green creature from this block is better I just cant think of his name but his power and toughness is equal to how many forests you have.

Ok that's a lot of people saying this so I must be missing something so I'll give it a try and I'll swap out Abzan Beastmaster for it. As for Avenger of Zendikar, its only ok by itself. I don't want to change a lot of things to make him better than ok. But at the same time its a notch better than Kalonian Twingrove, but is Avenger of Zendikar better than Siege Behemoth? I can pretty much walk in with my commander Multani, Maro-Sorcerer for an easy kill... But back to greater good. After the game is closing in to the end, its me and one or two other players, there's only a total of 4-7 cards in all hands. Now, Multani, Maro-Sorcerer doesn't seem so good any more. I don't want to sololy focus the deck on my commander cause like most games you need other ways to win. Maybe Praetor's Counsel should deserve another look. To sum it all up. The style and fashion I want to win will have players wanting to play again. Give them a chance to win, by not having the best deck all the time, and not having a perfect deck, but more like a 75%-85% deck. Try to keep it fun. I dont need to always win. Kinda like a timmy but likes a challange.

Rites of Flourishing. nuff said. Also I think Iname, Death Aspect is the most underrated commander.

The_Dragonmaster I disagree but defer to personal bias. Xira Arien would be my choice for most underrated commander. I run her at the helm of my Jund reanimator-ish group hug build, Xira's Army (feedback wanted). She provides little distraction (no one sees her as a threat, so they subconsciously view my deck as being as little of a threat as her, until it's much too late for them to do anything about it), card advantage for me (or anyone, really; like I said, it's group hug), and Jund colors for the types of cards that I need to run.

Iname, Death Aspect def not underrated . but def underused. Xira Arien has the colors to make a good deck meaning everything in that deck can be great but the commander by itself dosnt kill anybody

That's kinda like Iname, Death Aspect. They figure it's an odd mass reanimator deck so they hold their board wipes only to find me playing Mortal Combat the next turn. GG

Mikokoro, Center of the Sea fits your forcefeed side strategy.

It dose, I don't want to spend $10 on a land. I've never spent that much on a land before im not about to start now. Good suggestion, was in the original construction mock up, but once I saw the price it got cut

Horn of Greed fits snugly, it only triggers on your actual plays not whenever one enters unfortunately.

That would work great with Rites of Flourishing. But I think Howling Mine is strictly better than Horn of Greed, by a lil bit. Reason Rites of Flourishing is not in the deck is because I want to stay ahead of the mana race... Way ahead that's why I have Strip Mine and Acidic Slime and other type cards. Horn of Greed falls in between force feed and not. Players don't have lands to play, they don't draw a card, simple as that. This can hurt me late game when I have emptied my library of most my lands. Everyone else is drawing from it but me

Being that I have my own mono-green commander deck, I would say this deck needs more ramp. Sakura-Tribe Elder, Nature's Lore and Cultivate are musts. Also, Skyshroud Claim is strictly better than Explosive Vegetation.

October 23, 2015 9:55 p.m.

griffstick says... #15

i disagree with you completely with all of that except, Skyshroud Claim. "i am taking up a slot in my deck to put only one land into play", to me that's a wasted spell. I might as well have extra lands in that slot. I only want spells that are a 2 for 1 spell meaning, Skyshroud Claim is 1 spell that puts 2 lands into play. that's a 2 for 1. there will be no 1 for 1s in this deck unless it's an instant spell. there are some good ramp spells better than the ones i have, and there are better ones than the ones you mentioned, but none of which are of my concern. i am perfectly fine with the ramp in my deck at this moment. I would prefer suggestions on my creatures, and instants. i appreciate the advise and I will give it another look now. i will switch out Explosive Vegetation for Skyshroud Claim shortly.

What about the possibility of using Soul of the Harvest? I understand it is a little on the higher side of CMC, but it is like, keyword like, a permanent Glimpse of Nature.

November 2, 2015 9:47 a.m.

griffstick says... #23

Yea Soul of the Harvest is better than Primordial Sage its gonna find its way in soon. Glimpse of Nature is a lot of money and it doesn't seem that good here. Its so exspencive though. Must be legacy good.

November 2, 2015 12:22 p.m.

Colaer says... #24

I was only making the comparison between Soul of the Harvest and Glimpse of Nature; there is not enough creatures by any means to run Glimpse of Nature in your deck, in my honest opinion.

Colaer says... #25

The great thing about Soul of the Harvest his ability is triggered when you gain control of an opponent's creature as well, if I am not mistaken.
