Oh boy, it sure does feel soldier in here for some reason. So what's the plan here you ask? Well this is a sort of hybrid deck that threatens kills with both a sort-of Voltron commander and a rather threatening board presence. To give an idea of this decks power level, the earliest I have threatened lethal on someone was turn 6, so functional. It actually worked out a lot better than I thought it would.

The Beat Sticks

Your army is primarily comprised of soldiers, which is good because many of your creatures are lords. Rhox Pikemaster, Paragon of New Dawns, Auriok Steelshaper, Captain of the Watch, Daru Warchief, Field Marshal, Metallic Mimic, Prava of the Steel Legion, and Coat of Arms are here to buff your creatures to a reasonable level of death dealing. Honorary soldier and totally cool normal human Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite functions much the same.

And of course our beloved commander Odric, Lunarch Marshal, the key word lord. Most keywords granted to any of our loyal army are in turn reflected on to all of the force, which begets some rather interesting reactions with the only two other non-soldiers in the deck.

Akroma, Vision of Ixidor + Odric, Lunarch Marshal

Odric reflects keywords, Akroma lords keywords. Allowing Odric to resolve first results in an automatic +4/+4 to all creatures you control, potentially far greater depending on how many other keywords you happen to find. Even just the 2 by themselves can swing for 15 damage in the air with a pair of haste boots on one of them

Angel of Destiny + Odric, Lunarch Marshal just a few troops and these two can suddenly nuke some poor sap or 2 out of existence. Do note that Angel of Destiny does not prevent damage, only causes healing, so if Odric has 11 power or more he can potentially knock someone out with commander damage while Angel kills with the alt kill con. Best played as a surprise to suddenly end the game after an opponent bites the dust

And lastly, Bastion Protector + Odric, Lunarch Marshal deserves mention, so long as she's on board with Odric, everyone gets indestructible in combat, yay!

The Equipment

Given that our commander is generous enough to give everyone a helping of keywords, attaining some more couldn't hurt. Lightning Greaves, Maul of the Skyclaves, Shadowspear, Haunted Cloak, Basilisk Collar and Darksteel Plate All grant us delicious, delicious key words to feast upon. Honorary mention goes to Commander's Plate, protection from not-white is a very useful thing.

Leonin Sun Standard, Konda's Banner, and Veteran's Armaments add some power to our swings, sun standard in particular is a good mana dump for when there is nothing better to do.

Sword of Light and Shadow Because I happen to own a copy and it happens to cover the last protection slot alongside commanders plate .

Relic Seeker Can even help us find whatever is most useful..., it's gunna be the sword or plate 90% of the time

Ramp, IN MY WHITE DECK!!???, it's more likely than you think

So, what's something no one plays in commander?... THAT'S RIGHT, BASIC PLAINS so we are gunna take advantage of that.

Extraplanar Lens,Caged Sun,Gauntlet of Power Ramp your basic lands to hell and back you sick bastard, no one else is gunna take advantage of that, bonus points for sun and gauntlets for also acting as an anthem for a color no one plays creatures in. On that note Heraldic Banner is here and provides a similar function

Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, Nyx Lotus I mean, it's mono color might as well take advantage.

Keeper of the Accord, Land Tax An interesting fellow and a nice enchantment, really helps take advantage of the fact that there is always at least one Windgrace player in every group

Of course, all this mana doesn't mean much if we don't have stuff to sink it into

Mono White has no card draw

Oh... right I kinda forgot about that... wwwweeeelllllllll guess I'll have to scrounge something up. On that note there are only 155 mono white cards with the word "draw" in the rule text, and like half of them don't even draw you cards! and most of the rest of em are just cantrips from combat tricks.

Inheritance BEHOLD, CARD DRAW. READ IT AND WEEP WIZARDS OF THE COAST. but yea, board wipes are probably gunna be happening and if you have a ton of mana from the doublers and nothing better to sink it into, you can draw cards whenever anything dies, once per thing that dies nifty.

Mentor of the Meek, Skullclamp, Heirloom Blade, Mask of Memory and Icon of Ancestry Mentor drawns from weenies, skullclamp sacs weenies for cards, heirloom blade lets us draw a soldier if one dies, Mask nets a card on hit, and icon helps find soldiers AND gives them an anthem, nice.

Path of Ancestry, War Room, Windbrisk Heights and Bonders' Enclave Lands that help with card draw, very useful if you got nothing else to burn mana on.

Friends, token generation and you

ALL OF THE FRIENDS Ajani, Strength of the Pride,Elspeth Tirel,Elspeth, Knight-Errant,Elspeth, Sun's Champion,Elspeth, Sun's Nemesis, Basri Ket Summon and buff all our friends, hooray! A few of them also act as board wipes, very friendly indeed.

Gideon Blackblade,Kytheon, Hero of Akros   Help spread the indestructible around, and also act as point removal for creatures.

Prava of the Steel Legion, Mobilization, Kjeldoran Outpost, God-Favored General, Brimaz, King of Oreskos, Decree of Justice, Militia's Pride and Martial Coup Help spew new friends out into the world, which considering the rate of natural board wipes that occur is much appreciated, all of em are soldiers as well. Nice!

Lastly we have Marshal's Anthem and Honor of the Pure Another pair of anthem effects, very useful.
