"Simple, But Effective" it lists, and I couldn't agree more. I loved the idea immediately, as there's something so satisfying about crushing your opponents with hordes of Green creatures. So, I decided to build a deck in a similar fashion, but I wanted it to be unique and distinct enough to not feel like I was copying the source.

Now right off the bat you'll notice I decided to go with Rhonas the Indomitable as the Commander instead of Kamahl, Fist of Krosa. While I admit that Kamahl is much more potent with boosting all of your creatures, I didn't want to mimic Kamerot's choice like I stated previously. So, I chose Rhonas because he's slightly similar, he's hard to kill, and he's one of my favorite cards that came out of Amonkhet, the set which I first started playing the game with.

I included Garruk in this deck as he's up there with Nicol Bolas as one of my all time favorite Planeswalkers, so not including him in a deck with big Green stompy creatures would've been a crime on my part. I like to imagine that if Garruk ever made his way to Amonkhet while Rhonas was alive he would've been the perfect, unstoppable champion. That is if Garruk actually desired to follow through with it; he probably would've been more interested in his large menagerie of animals within his monument.
