Looking for ideas for alternatives/upgrades to this deck, staying relatively budget as occasionally I lend this deck out for others to play with. Deck Theme: The theme for this deck began as token creation and buff - inspired by squirrel tokens - I picked a budget commander that would help this: Baru, Fist of Krosa. Background: From experience, the original deck seemed really slow - mainly because it was a cheap deck made up of the best green cards in my collection. I then found EDHREC. I researched the commander, and realised that I had missed the main aim of Baru, which seems to be get multiple forests into play, preferably in one turn. Also, as I was new to the format, I had missed out a lot of commander staples from the deck.
