Trying to see if a mono-blue land-matters deck can work...without Crucible of Worlds...it's just too out of budget for me.

The idea for this deck came from the synergy possible between Meloku the Clouded Mirror and Patron of the Moon. The problem with blue is it just doesn't get extra land drops. So the answer is to ramp like mad. There are plenty of artifacts that can help get lands into hand, and some onto the battlefield, but is it enough? The Moonfolk are great for bouncing lands, and Patron of the Moon can lay them back down. I just wonder if it's viable.

I'm also stuck on which should be the commander; Meloku the Clouded Mirror, or Patron of the Moon. I'm leading toward Patron, because it's ability to drop lands onto the battlefield seems to be the one I want to have access too at all times.

I'm also thinking I'd like to do an infinite turns combo in the deck, but I need an affordable extra-turn card that will work alongside Mystic Sanctuary.

This is a work in progress right now. As I put more work into it, the description here will change to reflect that. Right now, I'm just looking for suggestions and help.

Probably going to run around 40. I was considering running the Panoramas and other sac-to-search lands, but I think I'd really rather just run straight Islands, as I want to dump any land onto the battlefield, and have plenty more to bounce. I will run anything that let's me two-for-one a land, though, so Myriad Landscape stays in.

Play Extra Lands

Hard to do in . So Patron of the Moon probably wins out as Commander. And lots of artifact help. If it's repeatable, then it's better.

Bounce Lands Back to Hand

can do this, no problem. Making it cheaper is better. There are a plethora of Moonfolk critters in here that will bounce lands. Thran Turbine and Training Grounds help make them a little more efficient to use.
