I've only ever played EDH but Nikachu has inspired me. Just scrolled through Strixhaven spoilers and Efreet Flamepainter intrigues me, but this deck doesnt get to 4 mana often. The ability to bolt to open the way for 2 damage and then recast the bolt plus another burn spell seems good but i've never played modern. I think if i talked to anyone about it they would say it is overcosted and if i wanted to utilize it i'd have to build a different deck around it. But it seems most decks built around one card have a main card on the cheaper side. idk really just rambling.
