Mirri's Hiking Guide to Victory

Commander / EDH Equip Landwalk Mono-Green

mroberts092

Voltron deck with trying to give forests to opponents. The goal is to swing in with your commander and kill with commander damage. Lots of swords are in this deck due to their powerful abilities. One thing that will need caution is that sword of feast and famine will give protection from green. Which could interfere with any green spells that you have. It needed to be included though as I see it as the most powerful sword.

Another similar card to be mindful of is Lightning greaves. The shroud it gives, while it will make your commander tough to remove, can stop a lot of your affects that would target her, including equipping. While this is sort of a "Non-bo" with your commander, keeping her around is vital to your victory.

Mono green does a lot really well but a department it struggles is board wipes. For that we will have to lean on Oblivion Stone and Nevieyral's disk. If good mono green board wipes come out in the future, consider replacing these two cards for them.

Most of the rest of the deck is self explanatory. While there are some other creature threats that can help you kill with combat damage, the strategy remains the same. Equip Mirri, attack with forestwalk, deal commander damage. Rise and repeat until you are out of opponents.
