This deck is based on several key tactics, all meant to thwart the strategies of your opponents. The first is dealing with threats through removal, counterspells, and discard effects. Think Doom Blade, Counterspell, and Despise. The second is to mill your opponents to fill their graveyards via Phenax, God of Deception, Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker, or any of the mill enchantments. This fuels your final tactic in stealing your opponent's spells either from the field or from their graveyard to use against them. Animate Dead is great, as is Sepulchral Primordial. For threats on board look to Roil Elemental and Control Magic.
