Sideboard

Blue Mill. Not quite as bad in Modern as it could be (no Painters Stone shenanigans here), but I tried my best to make it as... grinding as posibble! Let's Start!

Early on we wanna establish a good mill base. Hedron Crab acts as a defense while Mind Sculpt and Tome Scour will do some early milling for cheap. Ipnu Rivulet can help to be an additional hit, should you be in a tight spot for early Mills.

We keep the opponent from getting too frisky with casting stuff using Logic Knot and Condescend , while stalling for time while we assemble the board we want. This deck banks heavily on safing your mill spells until endgame. Once you have one or two copies of Fraying Sanity assembled, you should win. Shelldock Isle will help circumvent higher CMC or provide a surprise for later.

Should things get too heated, there is either Cryptic Command 's third ability to prevent your opponent from attacking or Devastation Tide to clear the board. We don't care about getting the crab back in our hand at this point.

Sideboard:

Delver of Secrets   can replace the Crab in case a more aggro stradegy is requied. Field of Ruin and Negate will come in handy if you need more stalling time and Hurkyl's Recall can be the end for artifact. You can also sideboard in Trapmaker's Snare and Archive Trap to get an alternative to Startled Awake
