I don't see overrun effects as cheese, I have other decks that play more to that style and with no haste in the deck I feel like it can be very obvious when it will happen.
I'm not keen on most cards like Hornet Queen as it costs the same as Avenger of Zendikar but is limited to making 4 tokens. Some are cheaper but still only make 4 so i am trying to find the right one.
