I inherited this deck from a friend. I have been play testing and editing it steadily as I get a feel for what Meren is capable of. She is currently my go to necro deck which is a mechanic I love in Magic. I have learned that Maren loves to hate your foes, she is a slower build deck that seems to want to grind enemies into the dirt. Staxx may be unavoidable.

At first I wanted make Meren more of a Zoo or a combo deck but Staxx is just completely different then any of my other decks. The real turning point was a primer and a bit of luck. The Primer showed you did not need to Mik/trik or necro ooze to win and then it was off to the races for me. I should also mention that cards in the maybe list are cards I am actively looking for atm.

The Deck is still in progress this is as the deck is currently in real life.
