It doesn't seem so, but this is actually a control deck, based on threat of activation in the middle part of the game. Don't risk your precious creatures. This deck features a number of way to overcome your foes with resources. Once you manage to have a grasp on the board (thanks to creatures like Angelic Arbiter or Archon of Valor's Reach ) you can start attacking and dropping combat-changers mid-combat with Mayael.
