Maybeboard

My best friend's mono white Human/solider aggro beatdown deck that he lent to me. I am looking to improve it a bit as a surprise when he gets it back. Already added abiding grace but looking for more ideas!

Deck's Strategy to win: The main card of this deck is Champion of the parish, which we want to play turn 1 followed by lots of cheap but effective creatures pumping him for fast heavy damage. Then to win this deck wants to build up +1/+1 counters on as many other creatures in order to eventually exploit all those counters to win the game. The creatures used to add counters to the growing army are Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit and Mikaeus, the Lunarch. Anafenza is a real threat her bolster can really snowball if not dealt with quickly with the amount of cheap creatures in this deck. Mikaeus enters with +1/+1 counters based off mana paid and will give all creatures on the board a +1/+1 counter at the cost of his own with his activated ability. Then to exploit all of these counters we have placed on our creatures are the spells Gleam of Authority and Abzan Falconer. Gleam will insanely buff one creature based on the number of +1/+1 counters placed on other creatures. Usually targeting the weakest creature on the board making a monstrous addition to an already stacked board of creatures. However, Abzan Falconer is the real MVP who gives flying to any creature with +1/+1 counter on it, usually ending the game when it hit the field or shorter after.

Adding onto this strategy for the mid to late game are the cards Ranger of Eos and Abiding grace. Both bringing extra value to having 16 one drops in the deck if the game goes longer than expected bring them back to field or into hand. Another gem is Student of warfare who can be leveled up to a 3/3 with Frist strike or 4/4 with double strike when he hits the field. Lastly there's the king Brimaz who by himself is a problem building his own army and works well with others minus the Champ.

As this is a very creature focused deck the supporting spells cards are limited but purposeful. We already covered abiding graces main value with returning creature but it also bring a little bit of life gain. Which further increases its value when there are no available creatures to return. Brave the elements offers both offensive and defensive options to either bypass blockers or protect creatures from attackers or spells for a turn. Then the four removal spells are split Path to exile and Oblivion Ring for non-creature permanents.
