Battlebond —June 14, 2018

A few changes due to playtesting cards from Battlebond:

Crystal Ball ---> Stolen Strategy: I like crystal ball, but Stolen Strategy is just straight up card advantage and very much on theme with using an opponent's weapons.

Ophiomancer ---> Virtus the Veiled: Virtus is similar to Master of Cruelties as a terrifying rattlesnake. It can make opponents scared to attack you out of fear of powerful retribution.

Exotic Orchard ---> Luxury Suite: The new dual lands are fantastic for multiplayer Commander. I hope they do the enemy coloured ones soon. Easy inclusion to the land base.

Batwing Brume ---> Wild Ricochet: Not a new Battlebond card but I found myself missing Wild Ricochet after I cut it last time. It can really warp board states into my favour when used on a removal spell. Batwing Brume I found to be my weakest fog attack. Opponents attacking wide just isn't common enough in my meta for the life loss to have much impact. Having said that, it was still a decent fog effect and could find its way back in.

Price of Progress is still on the fence for me. I'm finding it fairly high variance. It can be a blowout in my favour, but quite commonly it would deal more damage to me than opponents. Two colour and mono colour decks are quite common in my meta, so as a three colour deck I am often the one with more non-basics. Still, being 2 mana and instant speed it can sometimes be a game winner. Perhaps it needs to be swapped out for Acidic Soil which would harm greedy Green decks more than myself.

Also on the fence about my previous decision to cut boardwipes down to 2. Creature graveyard shenanigans are very common. Rest in Peace, Scavenger Grounds, and Rakdos Charm all help with that but I'm thinking of putting back in Hallowed Burial as a sweeper that can get around graveyard strategies.

Any feedback greatly appreciated!
