This is not incredibly different from most other Marchesa decks. The creatures that get a trigger upon death feature more card advantage versus other builds that utilize Butcher of Malakir or Dictate of Erebos to edge out opponents' board states. Winning that way wasn't much fun for everyone else so this deck is more focused on sheer card advantage to win.
