Maybeboard

The deck is designed to present and interact with a diverse array of threats. Turns 1-3 Marath functions as a control deck. Naya excels at creature and enchantment removal, as well as stax. Marath pairs best with blue mid-range and control decks because she lacks counterspells. Your goal is to support these "interact first, win second" decks to make it to the mid-game. It's important to balance interacting with zugzwang. You need to save interaction to protect yourself in the mid and late-game. Marath can win through most stax pieces. Keeping stax on the board hurts your opponents more than you. Here are some examples of interaction:

• Use Nature's Claim to prevent board development turns 1 and 2 or save Nature's Claim to remove stax ex. humiliation/ Solemnity .

• You can save Force of Vigor to allow yourself to develop the board in a more mana efficient way. Alternatively, save
Krosan Grip in a counter-heavy pod.

Krosan Grip is excellent at removing powerful Stax, Bolas's Citadel , Necropotence , and Food Chain . Remember Food Chain functions at mana speed. Parts of Food Chain don't use the stack nor pass priority.

• Path to Exlie and Swords to Plowshares should be saved for priority targets. These 2 cards do remove creatures with graveyard synergies as well as indestructible creatures.

• Try to play Marath on turns 1-2 where creature removal is necessary. Against Hermit Druid lists try to keep 2 +1/+1 counters on Marath and 2 Mana up to interact with those players' win conditions (remember to still develop the board as to not fall behind).

• Tutor for Basilisk Collar to efficiency deal with large and medium threats like Gitrog Monster, and Sun Titan .

(UNDER CONSTRUCTION)

I'm currently testing the value of more compact side combos. I'm open to conversation about how many combos should be in this deck as well as what each individual combo brings to the table. Here's a list of incidental combos I've found so far that could be included in this deck:

The current core combos I am using are designed around the concept that they double up as value engines to develop the board:

Earthcraft

Ashnod's Altar

Cryptic Trilobite

Crystalline Crawler

Hardened Scales

Pir, Imaginative Rascal

Unbound Flourishing

Not being able to tutor instants and sorceries in Naya colors makes this package inconsistent.

Dualcaster Mage + Twinflame

Faith's Reward /simular effects + Dualcaster Mage + haste enabler/etb trigger/sacrifice outlet

Auriok Salvagers + Lion's Eye Diamond aka. Bomberman

Underworld Breach + Wheel of Fortune + Smothering Tide/ Lion's Eye Diamond

Wheel of Fortune has notable synergy with regrowth effects like: Eternal Witness , Seasons Past , Sun Titan , Sevinne's Reclamation , Dire Fleet Daredevil , and Dreadhorde Arcanist . Don't underestinate Wheel of Fortune + the Tymna the Weaver blocker Elvish Reclaimer :P Life from the Loam package also works well here.

Smothering Tide is the best mana tool white has to offer outside of drawing lands with Land Tax (Which green players can't do anyways). We are looking to triple down on its effect in EDH to get the most value out of it. Like Mystic Remora in a storm deck, Smothering Tide gives stacks decks a way to break parity at the table.

Wheel of Fortune and Smothering Tide are already in the deck for their immense raw power as well as incidental synergies. Together they can bring you from the brink of Hellbent to a full grip and up to 21 treasures! Even alone they both act as staple midrange tools to keep ahead of your opponents' resource generation.

Underworld Breach breach is an interesting regrowth effect. It is most similar to Yawgmoth's Will in black. It has direct synergy with Wheel of Fortune , Fetch Lands, and Storm Style cards. As an enchantment so it is tutorable in Naya colors. However, it is hard for most builds of Marath, Will of the Wild to utilize it outside of comboing off. Marath decks simply don't fill up their graveyards fast enough to play this as a regrowth.

Bomberman is just the fastest combo in mono-white. Generating infinite mana we can cast and recast Marath, Will of the Wild infinite times to deal infinite damage to the table. Outside of comboing off the Bomberman combos essentially do nothing. It is worth considering 0 mana rocks with [and without] this package.

Dockside Extortionist + Temur Sabertooth + 4 or more opposing artifacts
