This is maneless dredge! It's exactly like dredge except with less mana.

For those of you who are new to dredge it's an ability found on certain cards that states "If you would draw a card, instead you may put exactly X cards from the top of your library into your graveyard. If you do, return this card from your graveyard to your hand. Otherwise, draw a card." An example of a dredger is Stinkweed Imp. Every game you will be on the draw to draw a card turn one and then discard a dredger. Usually you will return that card to your hand and put cards from your library into your graveyard. This deck functions from cards such as Narcomoeba that say if you would put it into your graveyard from your library instead return it to play.
For a hand to be keepable in this deck it needs either Golgari Thug or Stinkweed Imp. If your opening hand does not contain either of those cards in most cases you should mulligan. In this deck every time you mulligan it will take a turn longer for you to discard a card. This deck has a card that solves that problem of not having a keepable opener. It's called Serum Powder.

If you have to mulligan a hand and you have Serum Powder you can exile that hand and draw seven new cards. If you are unlucky enough for your opening hand to not have a dredger or Serum Powder than it might be best to mulligan until you get Serum Powder. Than you can exile that hand and get yourself a new seven cards with hopefully a dredger or another Serum Powder. The only disadvantage to this is your opponent now knows what deck you are playing but it's probably better for them to know that than for you to do nothing the whole game because of a dud hand.

The cards in this deck are sorted into 5 different categories:

Dredgers are the key cards in this deck and without them it would not function.

Stinkweed Imp: This is the better of the two dredgers in this deck. Being able to mill 5 every turn is great. You will never cast Stinkweed Imp in a game. It's only in here because of its ability to mill.

Golgari Thug: Slightly worse than Stinkweed Imp milling you one less card. A lot of maneless dredge decklists only have 2 Golgari Thugs but with Once Upon a Time banned six dredgers isn't enough. Like Stinkweed Imp you will never cast Golgari Thug in a game. It's only in here because of the dredge ability.

There are more modern legal cards that have dredge (Life from the Loam, Darkblast, etc) but Stinkweed Imp and Golgari Thug mill the most when dredged.

There are many purposes for zero drops in this deck like sacrificing them to Salvage Titan or putting your opponent on a 20 turn play clock.

Memnite: A 1/1 body for is one of the most frightening things in magic. Opponents will be terrified knowing that they have only twenty turns left until Memnite deals lethal damage. Perhaps the second most powerful modern legal card the first being Storm Crow. Memnite is useful both on the battlefield and in the graveyard. When you play it you can return all of your Sword of the Meek from the graveyard and attach them to Memnite. That helps get three artifacts on the battlefield to sacrifice to Salvage Titan. Also if you play two Memnite you can return to play all of your Vengevine and possibly do lethal damage.

Ornithopter: Usually you won't play Memnite or Ornithopter because it make it harder for you to discard cards. Some things Ornithopter is useful for are: Chump blocking, returning Vengevines to play, getting out Salvage Titan, and attacking for 0. Sometimes zero drops in this deck won't do anything besides sitting in your hand the entire game but sometimes they can win you the game on the spot by getting back 4 Vengevine.

Mishra's Bauble: This card can be better in some situations than both Memnite and Ornithopter. If you have two dredgers in your graveyard you can play Mishra's Bauble and sacrifice it to dredge one of them at the next upkeep. Then on your next turn you can still dredge the other one. Being able to dredge an extra time in a turn is really good and can put you ahead of your opponent.

These are cards that if you mill them you can play them for free.

Narcomoeba: By itself a 1/1 flyer isn't too scary. Being able to mill it and cast it without paying its mana cost isn't too bad. Narcomoeba triggers Prized Amalgam and allows you to get it back at the beginning of the next end step. It also triggers any Sword of the Meek in your graveyard and brings them back attached to itself. Altogether it's pretty good.

Creeping Chill: This card is busted. A card that allows you to do 3 damage to the opponent and have you gain 3 life if it is milled is really good. Nothing more to really say about it.

These are not called unplayables because they're bad but rather you just can play them.

Phantasmagorian: This card can be very useful if it's milled. It gives you a free way to discard 3 cards and cast a Hollow One without paying its mana cost. Usually you won't be discarding it on turn one. The only time you'd do this is if you have multiple Hollow Ones in your hand or a Hollow One and a dredger.

Serum Powder: This helps you get a seven card opening hand and you can exile it from your graveyard to help get Salvage Titan back to your hand. If you don't keep your opener then you should probably mulligan until you get it.

Street Wraith: This does kind of the same thing as Mishra's Bauble. It will allow you to dredge multiple times in one turn with the small price of 2 life. It also can make Hollow One cost less to cast until end of turn.

These are cards that don't fit into any of the other categories.

Vengevine: To get this all you have to do is play 2 creature cards. Kinda hard in a deck without land. Often times multiple Vengevines will win you the game because they have haste. In some games it will just stay in the graveyard for the whole game while other times it's a game winner. You have to cast the creatures to trigger Vengevine so the only thing that will trigger this will be Ornithopter, card:memnites, and Salvage Titan.

Salvage Titan: A 6/4 body for sacrificing a mere 3 card:ornithopers? Deal! This is the only card with a mana cost of more than in this deck that you will be technically casting. Some games you will just return it from your graveyard to your hand in order to discard an additional card that turn. That's especially helpful if you have a Prized Amalgam or Vengevine and a dredger and you don't have any dredgers in the graveyard. Then you can discard a dredger and that card.

Hollow One: After the banning of Faithless Looting this card lost its deck. Usually to play Hollow One you will discard a Phantasmagorian and then discard three cards to return Phantasmagorian to your hand. Making Hollow One cost -1 mana. Street Wraith can also help lower its mana cost.

Prized Amalgam: Just a 3/3 you get at the end of your turn if you milled a Narcomoeba or returned a Vengevine to play. Sadly you don't immediately return it to the battlefield but it's still good.

Sword of the Meek: A great card to sacrifice to Salvage Titan or to make your card:narcomeobas bigger. You can also exile it from your graveyard to help get Salvage Titan back to your hand.

There are no land in this deck. Sorry.
