ONE PUNCH MAIRSIL

Take Phyrexian Devourer + any activated abilities that give an unblockable-esque ability to Mairsil, the Pretender.

Take Pestilent Souleater / Vector Asp + any activated abilities that give an unblockable-esque ability to Mairsil, the Pretender.

I am fed up with people telling me that Mairsil, the Pretender is combo and targeting me with their hatred for said combo decks. They won't see the massive f*cking fist till it's too late. This deck is in direct response to my playgroup.

How to wield such a massive INFINITY GAUNTLET part 1

First, get rocks out to get Mairsil out on time or on turn three. The rocks that we really utilize are Talisman of Indulgence,Talisman of Dominance,and Izzet Signet so we can quickly color fix efficiently. This speed with rocks makes him a huge threat that everyone on the table to notice. Cranking out Mairsil, the Pretender is vital to having a good experience because he is the focus of this deck.

Second, secure at least one of the two types of cards in Mairsil, the Pretender cage. One is a flicker ability so you can constantly get Mairsil to blink. The other is card draw that will either fill the bin to find a flicker card either a spell or creature. These flicker creatures are AEtherling,Cavern Harpy, and Rainbow Efreet which are likely the most efficient cards at the beginning of the game to have under Mairsil. Flicker spells have to uses as a defense of your life points by giving creatures summoning sickness/removal from combat and the other is the evident use on Mairsil, the Pretender.

Getting to maximum ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA

Third, after digging you will need the win cons that are Phyrexian Devourer,Pestilent Souleater,Vector Asp, or stumbling into something new (Mairsil sometimes surprise everyone at the table). These are your second items to put on Mairsil, the Pretender because they can spell the end for your enemy. After these wincons are secured getting the other pieces are easy. Aboshan, Cephalid Emperor lets you get non-fliers out of the way by tapping them during attacking phase. Hateflayer on Mairsil lets you attack and then shoot the face for damage. Trespassing Souleater is easy unblockable and gets you there.

Again this deck is in direct response to my playgroup and their need to target because of one niche infinite combo I had in the deck I never pulled off.
