As someone who's mostly built budget EDH decks in the past and now has the resources to built a fun, competitive, and NON-budget deck, Maelstrom Wanderer immediately caught my eye. Cascade is such a fantastic, random, fun mechanic, that I can't help but build this deck. I've always been a fan of creature beat down decks, and the ability to drop large, game-changing spells has a certain appeal to me.
