Are you hungry for life gain soup, but tired of the same old death and taxes strategy that ping opponents for 1 at a time? Craving something that will hit for chunks of life instead? Simply follow this recipe for a life drain soup so chunky your opponents will choke on it.

Authored by head chef, Kambal, Consul of Allocation.

Step one: Create a base for our soup. - Kambal is a must-have, but mix in as many extort triggers as you can find laying around the house early on. For example, Tithe Drinker and Basilica Screecher are hearty and will keep this soup warm for a while.

Step two: Keep other cooks out of the kitchen. - It won't take long for people to start smelling what the rock is cooking, and it's imperative that you keep them away until the soup is ready. Orzhov provides lots of good options such as Despark, Ghostly Prison, and Utter End.

Step three: Spice it up! - The base flavors are good, but to really kick it up a notch we'll want some spicy additions. Cards like Rhox Faithmender, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, and Sanguine Bond will really take the taste of your soup to the next level. Bam!

Step four: Don't forget your vegetables. - Admittedly, not as exciting as the big chunks. However, these vegetables are good for you and are a key ingredient in any proper dish. The finest vegetables Orzhov has to offer include Obzedat's Aid, Diabolic Tutor, and Dawn of Hope.

Step five: Chunkiest meat and potatoes. - Finally we get to the good stuff. The chunkiest of chunks are what make this soup what it is. Don't hold back, throw everything in that will cause chunky swings of life! Aetherflux Reservoir, Revival / Revenge, and Debt to the Deathless will give them bites so big that your opponents won't be able to chew on them.

Step six: Secret ingredients... - Naturally everyone will love the chunky soup, but what if they've had your soup and still aren't full? Alternative yet complementary flavors are a great way to finally send them off. Felidar Sovereign, Triskaidekaphobia, and Angel of Destiny are fun inclusions that are sure to satisfy!
