Welcome to the Boros Pits!

Baeloth can function somewhat similar to Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar in that he can go-tall voltron while still being able to deal more than just commander damage, albeit he needs enemy creatures to do so. Trample Equipment is good since it encourages multi-blocking Baeloth, letting him kill more goaded creatures for Treasure while still getting in some commander damage. A bit unusual for a mono-red card, Baeloth also functions as pillow fort because he prevents low-power creatures from attacking you at all. Beware of e.g. Craterhoof (and the inevetible 1v1) though.

Harmonic Prodigy not only doubles Treasure death triggers, but also generates extra Noble Heritage counters (and Tavern Brawler impulse-draws) since the ability originates from Baeloth rather than the enchantment. (Oh and also The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale tax lol.)

Don't forget that Noble Heritage counts as a commander for the purpose of Jeska's Will.

(The true purpose of this deck might just be to creep people out with Mark Meer's cosplay.)
